It is with great regret that we have chosen to not renew our membership in the "Upfront Mortgage Broker's Association." Part of the reason we made the decision is that we asked for an accounting of how membership dues were being spent, and received no answer. There have been a great many changes in our industry over the past year, and we hope that this will lead to a great many reforms.
Best Practices: We firmly believe that the mortgage industry has operated since its beginnings in a fog that benefited the lenders and brokers - to the borrower's detriment.
